Students: Sandwich Year and Enterprise Residency Placements

Our placement programmes are a great opportunity for you to develop the enterprise and entrepreneurial skills and attributes which are essential for running a successful business venture or in securing a great graduate job.

Work for Yourself Sandwich Year Placement

This is an opportunity for both undergraduate and postgraduate students to use their sandwich year placement to develop a commercial or social venture of their own. You don’t need an amazing idea just enthusiasm and a desire to do something different. The enterprising skills you will develop will make you a stand out candidate to employers not to mention the confidence and business knowledge you will acquire. Running your own business for a year really looks great on a CV and will be a great talking point at interviews. If you decide to continue working on your business during your final year and beyond, you will still be able to continue to access the Enterprise Team's support.
