Hallam Enterprise Award

Hallam Enterprise Award Winners
Our Hallam Enterprise Winners 2018

Each autumn in late September, we host our annual Hallam Enterprise Award. This provides a selected number of our students and graduates to show case their businesses to invited leaders from the local Sheffield business community, fellow entrepreneurs and interested representatives from within the University. Finalists have the opportunity to pitch their businesses to a panel of judges and an audience.

Cash prizes are awarded to the winner and two runners up, courtesy of Santander Bank, based on the actual business idea and its long term viability.  A further cash prize of £1000 is awarded by the Enterprise Team, based on the audience vote.

This is a joint award sponsored by both Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield. It is an opportunity to showcase graduate businesses that have demonstrated significant growth over the previous year. Nominees are invited to attend the Sheffield Business Awards ceremony held in December of each year, where the winner is announced. This is a great opportunity for business exposure and networking.
